Florida Yards & Neighborhoods can help you achieve a Certified Florida-Friendly Landscape in your new landscape. To qualify, the landscape must be for a newly constructed landscape and must meet minimum criteria on the Certification Checklist.

Florida-Friendly Community Awards

Note: The Florida-Friendly Community Awards are deferred for 2009. We are exploring the possibility of an award for 2010 with a emphasis on water-conserving communities and innovative stormwater management techniques.

Communities that have Florida-Friendly Landscapes throughout both the home sites and the common areas are eligible to apply for a Florida-Friendly Community Award. Applicants must complete an application to be considered for the annual award.
